The people of Ormoc called Ormocanons. Ormocanons are predominantly Cebuano-speaking (or Kana, a Cebuano-speakers in Leyte and Southern Leyte are often called), together with the entire western part of Leyte Island. People relate more to the neighboring cities of eastern Leyte and Cebu than his own.
